In short: we collect very little, we don't sell your data, and you can contact us anytime about your information.
Who we are
This website is run by Parekoy's TV and Tips. This policy explains what information we collect when you use the site and how we use it, in line with the Philippine Data Privacy Act of 2012 (Republic Act No. 10173).
What we collect
- Messages you send us. If you email us, we keep your email address and message so we can reply.
- Basic server logs. Our hosting provider records technical information such as IP address, browser type and the pages requested, for security and to keep the site running.
- No visitor accounts. You don't need an account to use the site. Accounts exist only for our own team.
Cookies, analytics and ads
Right now the site does not use analytics or advertising cookies. If we add tools such as Google Analytics or Google AdSense, we will update this policy before turning them on and describe the cookies they use.
View and click counts
We count how many times each comparison page is viewed and how many times store links are clicked, to show Trending Comparisons and see which links are useful. These counts are totals only: we do not store your IP address or anything that identifies you. To avoid counting the same visit twice, your browser remembers for the rest of the day which comparisons you opened; this stays on your device.
YouTube videos
Videos are shown with YouTube's privacy-enhanced mode, and the player loads only when you press play. Once a video plays, YouTube (Google) may collect information under its own privacy policy.
Affiliate and store links
Some links take you to Shopee, Lazada or brand stores. Those sites may use cookies to record that you came from us, under their own privacy policies. See our Affiliate Disclosure.
How we use and share information
We use the information above only to reply to you, keep the site secure and improve it. We do not sell or rent your personal information. We share it only with service providers that help run the site (such as our hosting provider) or when the law requires it.
How long we keep it
We keep emails only as long as needed to handle your message, and server logs for a limited period set by our hosting provider.
Your rights
Under the Data Privacy Act, you can ask to access, correct or delete your personal information, object to its processing, and file a complaint with the National Privacy Commission (privacy.gov.ph).
